Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm beginning to think this dream means it's time to move on and let younger generation take over. I'm old in army age, 12 years in. Been thru 4 different uniforms. I'm thinking the dream is telling me is time to give it up.

I'm sure it's a tough carrier if you're not making big rank - they say you dream about unfinished business and things that are concerning you...

More than likely. The house would nominate and vote on a president. They could put trump in, or anyone really. Most likely case is the speaker of the house as he controls who gets nominated
the Speaker would likely become the President?

Only one thing holding me back. My knee. 3 knee injuries means I can't run for ****.

I'm betting you are coming to a re-up or move on time?

No. I've got just over 2 yrs left. But I also know I'm coming up on the cutoff age wise to completing my ultimate goal. Which was a commissioned officer.

Honestly, the biggest thing that's starting to weigh on me is the 2 kids. Not using them as an excuse but I feel like I'm losing a lot of time with them for nothing. Yeah the retirement check would be nice. I'd have 14 years in at that point. But having 2 young kids changes things. And to be honest, that's weighing on me.

Think I will head to work now. Hopefully Hoppy or Ben check in with some coffee babe pics.. I really gotta get that other pic out of my head. Kinda like a horror movie scene stuck there. Lol

Good Morning all. And David when you read back please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. It even brought good memories of my Dad who left this earth in 2003. Peace to you in this time of loss.

Holy hell. I've never seen my precinct this packed.

Kind of in a truck I guess.

Chris you are right at the decision point with the army, you have to weigh out all the options, family, retirement, personal gratification and of course rank and money. Each person is different, my only real regret is I should have stayed active, prob would have been home a hell of a lot more.
