Im a city boy, I dont see the "fun" going out to the Deers home, and shooting them. Just me saying...

I'm doing it to actually feed my family. We eat every ounce possible. one deer gives between 50-100 lbs of meat depending on size. so 2-3 would work to feed a family of 4. And even at 80 bucks a pop, its still much cheaper than beef at the grocery store (3.99+ a lb here)

I see it both sides - grew up very much "in the sicks" (look up Shutesbury Ma.) and everyone around hunted and I am full on "cool with it" - for me personally though, I am not into it.

I like drinking and shooting rifles... And blowing stuff up.. I'm not much on deer meat (except for Mitch's jerky) so I don't shoot deer. I do shoot lots of birds tho, and eat them.
