and...you know, the 413 max wedge block i have, came from a mud floor in a barn....
its about a boat anchor. needs everything sleeved, even the cam bore(is that even possible?) and the mains boredand...
damn - you just aren't having any luck with engines huh...its about a boat anchor. needs everything sleeved, even the cam bore(is that even possible?) and the mains bored
no, this one i knew full well about. I'm saving it because of what it is. a true, by the numbers 413 max wedge block. I found everything but the heads and intake, we think the renter took those off and sold for scrap but couldnt lift the block so left it.damn - you just aren't having any luck with engines huh...
thought about it, im actually thinking of building it one day. I've had it checked by a couple shops, they think they can fix it, but it'd cost about 3500-5000 to fully build.Make a table out of it.
lol, no. that one my buddy still thinks is worth a couple grand. That the one you offered me?
Almost reasonable by engine build standards.thought about it, im actually thinking of building it one day. I've had it checked by a couple shops, they think they can fix it, but it'd cost about 3500-5000 to fully build.
that's just machining. that's not counting the parts like, intake and heads if I can locate them, sleeves is 120 a cylinder, plus the sleeve it's self, which is like 20 bucks a pop, line hone is 350-500 depending on the shop, magnuaflux, sonic check, shot peen, decking, lifter bore hones.Almost reasonable by engine build standards.
