Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey I know you guys are working, but those of you that get the History channel. Have you ever watched Forged in Fire? Its a reality type show where 3 blacksmiths have to forge some sort of bladed weapon out of various types of materials and then they put it thru tests..... Its interesting watching how they go thru the whole process!
I've seen it, pretty cool show. The test, slicing a half side of hog! lol

well, I tried to sell it for 750 and never got an offer over 500... no brakes, needs a new bed, heater/blower just barely works, engine smokes like crazy after about 5min., I have to keep a heater on the oil pan or it won't start in the extreme cold.. windshield is cracked, it smells like dead mice inside (probably has something to do with the mice that have died in it) - - it really needs tires..

If you think 2500-3K or what ever you would spend on a different truck would fix all that I say go for it

You could rip the bed off and build a flat bed for it to mount a salter on!

yeah... time for a new truck......

hell, 10 years ago when I bought it, it wouldn't pass inspection... to say it needs a complete overhaul is an understatement - on the plus side - it is a 3/4 ton, 4x4 works, trans is fine and the cab and frame are in good shape...

So what is wrong with it? :poke:

I think most of the calendar cars were 'completed' by Ddaddy. So, which ones are actually 'as builts'? I know his own is, and Scamper's. What others were real pics of finished cars?
Here's the list...

January - Duke 318 – car disassembled

February – Ben Drinkin – car disassembled

March – Halifax Hops – car drivable

April – Mom’s Duster – car disassembled

May – Rainy Day Auto – car disassembled (does not own van)

June – Toolman Mike – car drivable

July – Memike – car was drivable, being upgraded now

August – Mopar Mitch – car semi-drivable, but not road ready yet

September – Scamp Mike – car drivable

October – Ddaddy – car drivable

November – Straightlinespeed – car drivable

December – Goldfish65 – car drivable

2nd glass company called. They deal with classic glass install. They are at the same price as the first company but I have a better feeling with this company since I actually talked to the owner who does the work and not a receptionist. Now I have to order the gaskets.

that's good, who stocks quality glass for these cars?

That is a good question, but he told he he could have the glass today. He did mention one company was PGW, and they have a warehouse here in town. I think the other company was PPG.
