I put the mechanicals on yesterday and one of the levers hit, sucks for sure. Glad I fitted it again before it was finished with the bondo.

custom fitting stuff is so tedious - fit it, adjust it - repeat - fit it, adjust it - repeat - fit it, adjust it - repeat --- nice when you reach the finish line though and you have to be getting close...

I feel like I'm losing my mind. I had the Scamp for sale a couple weeks back but no address with the ads and they've been deleted. A guy from Ohio stopped last night trying to buy it, He asked around in the town over to find out where the car stays. Little creepy if you ask me..

I am learning so much about early A's with this car

I never knew the 66 seats are much narrower and that is mainly due to the "coffin" console coming out in 66

should be a 65 then ,,, 64 and back would have the pushbuttons on the dash and 66 has the 66 and up console

66 also has the linkage shift transmissions... Not the cable shift....

shame too because a few members had some really good deals on 66 seat sets ...but I am preferring the older seats in this car which is a 63 and I am not going to be using any kind of console because its a 4 speed.

The narrower seats will fit? Why not use them also... More room....
