Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am paying attention to you early A guys now

I now have a 63 valiant wagon so i am now amongst the early A crowd......the crowd i previously thought were a strange bunch :poke:

Like I said before it is not surprising Rani that you discovered the early-a's. The compact-cars were still new for the Big 3. It is fun to read the old comparisons in Popular Mechanics and Consumer Reports, they always picked the Valiant/Dart over Falcon and Nova.

Funny you say that now, i just saw a falcon wagon the other day.

Really cool car and so much like the valiant

Making a quick trip to Atlanta, my friend is remodeling and has a small wood-graining project for me to do...just a window frame that would look fine just painted but it's what his wife wants. She'll fix dinner. Moving away from a place, you miss your friends, it is a drive but he thinks traffic will be ok since I am not going through downtown.

They are ok but a-bodies drive and handle so much nicer. I remember driving a old Falcon on a crested country road and having to constantly work the steering wheel to keep from going into the ditch.

That's a dying art there Dave, wood graining.

About 10 years ago when they first started remodeling their house, the beams of the cathedral ceiling in the living/dining room were a dark wood, the wife wanted them lighter, and my friend said, "you can do this and she'll pay you good money." I practiced and he was right! You know who is a master of wood-graining: FishyPete.

Did not know that. Tell you what people have some skills that stop in here. Keith and I actually touched on that yesterday.
