yep - just got one . Yea, the holder was warm -- I may go ahead and get the 50 just to see how it goes.. run the thing with the cover off so i can easily check the fuse holder a few times. You only got one?
Or slow blow if that wasn't
You mean the holder? The fuse is gonna get hot when it melts. As long as the wiring doesn't get too hot before that happens it's good.
Is the holder in the cable? That's better than on a board (or pinned down to one) when it does blow its not heating up something else.yep - just got one . yea - I guess I should do that..Mike you have a ammeter in your meter? Might want to check the draw might possibly be it is just drawing to much.
yea - directly on the power cable - one on each battery - you know.. I did think of getting more than 1...Is the holder in the cable? That's better than on a board (or pinned down to one) when it does blow its not heating up something else.
Once I blow a fuse I always get a few extra's. Especially if hard to find. It WILL happen again.
Correct. I was saying a slower 40 might help if it wasn't already slo-blo. Since it is an actual higher draw while running hard. You want to give it a little extra (within what the circuit can handle) would be good to know more about wire size/circuit. Do you have a manual, or does it show if the 40 was actually correct. I never assume that the last guy put the right fuse in! If it ever had a direct short, the fuse size won't matter much. It would be a fraction of a second longer to take out a 50+ vs a 40The 50 get a regular not a slow blow. (ok no other way to say it)
Two batteries going to what? Same circuit, motors or separate draws?yea - directly on the power cable - one on each battery - you know.. I did think of getting more than 1...
i.e. If it always blows same one, Why is it drawing harder on that battery? Two batteries going to what? Same circuit, motors or separate draws?
one left, one right - each goes to the converter box which is connected to the motor and the lights, horn etc. -- yea, it is the right side that is poppingTwo batteries going to what? Same circuit, motors or separate draws?
ok OK!!Check the draw!!!!!!!!!!
Were you leaning to the right? (does the manual give a weight limit?) LOLone left, one right - each goes to the converter box which is connected to the motor and the lights, horn etc. -- yea, it is the right side that is popping
You should check the draw.Check the draw!!!!!!!!!!
Did someone say BLOW OUT THE MOTORS?That will let you know if there is a problem both sides should be close, could be something stupid like a dirty motor brush.
I was hoping I didn't have to get into the dang thing that far.. cheeseitsDid someone say BLOW OUT THE MOTORS?
