Not by my own doing. I'm getting screwed for one year due to re-enlisting mid year and therefore only getting 49 points that fall instead of the required 50
 
you get points for career development courses or whatever the army calls them? The books with the crayons.:poke:

I get promotion points but I don't think I get retirement points for those

yep. I was out from Feb 2010 until Sept 2011. It's the Sept 2011 to dec 2012 that is hurting me
 
Nothing you can do about that,You still got points for attendance, I made sure I never had a break ever before re enlistments for that reason, Your NCO's never gave you guidance about any of that? if you get a points statement it should show on there.
