Stop in for a cup of coffee

WOW! In addition to all the crap going on, you have to see that sexy beast all shirtless and whatnot. That's got to violate an ordinance or two!!

Yeah, and I had to see it two days in a row, he did the front one day, and the back the next... :banghead:

Im sure there are still ways/ places to get on free, but i don't know the area. I just chalked it up as a convenience fee, cause i was already there and didnt have all day to look at alternatives. I saw one guy working his way through the end of the fence coming off the beach. Guessing he went in the same way. lol
Good luck wih your car and road access issues. Its annoying when that happens, but totally sucks when its part of daily life.

That talk about putting toes in the sand in the water sounds tempting.

I need to get to the dunes before winter and wade around in the water. It's been a while since I've been to a beach....

Yes it is.

The first wed of the month is court day here...

I will have to check in and see how they do with the a--hole neighbor...

He's been violating he real estate sign law for over a year. I started my campaign hard against him on May 15th, and they finally got around to giving him a ticket(s). I had to go in and chew out the village manager to get him to act on the ordinance violation.

I don't care how petty it is, it's an ordinance on the books and his job is to enforce it. After the assault they did on me last year, it's payback time. I'm in full compliance now it's time to get back at the @sswipe. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

He keeps trying to bend the rules and sneak things by. He puts up his signs after 5 PM on Fridays and takes them down before they get back in the office on Monday. So I call the police to come document the violations with pictures also to support my case. That way I can't be accused of "setting him up"....

This year I changed tactics. Instead of sitting back and waiting for him to complain first, then throw his violations back at them, I started with "the best defense is a good offense"...

It worked, they haven't come around here to harass me at all this year. Now that they are starting to see the wrath of my persistent temper, they may think next time they want to come around here and stir things up with me. When you shake my bee hive, I sting back....

Now I have them where I want them, they are my "puppets" and better enforce the ordinances or I'll take it to the mayor. I had to do that once already, so they know I don't play around.

I didn't want to do this to them, but they asked for it by getting involved. If they would have just left me alone last year, I wouldn't care, but now it's go-time....

He put up more signs on his same post last week and the village hasn't caught it. That violates the no more than 5 square feet of sign rule. I'm going to show up to the court with a copy of the ordinance and embarrass them by pointing out that he's still in violation and they don't even know the ordinances that they are supposed to enforce... They usually check up on the property violations the day before the court date, so there is no reason that they shouldn't have caught that...

Here's a picture of @sswipe from the other day... He lives in a $400,00 house and is too cheap to buy a self propelled mower...

Ha - ha...

He got nailed!!!

Tried to lie out of it and deny that he had notice of the illegal signs and that they were his, but then they pulled up where he tried to apply for a permit to put them on village public property and was denied which was before some of the tickets written against him. The judge saw through his lies, but if they would have let me get up to speak against him, I had more proof of his blatent game playing...

The judge cut him a break and threw out 2 of the 5 tickets that were written, but the judge hit him for $500 each for denying that the signs were his after they had proof that they were...

PAYBACKS ARE A ***** ASSHOLE!!!! :finga: :finga: :finga:

Ya should have left me alone.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Yep, I warned the kids to keep away in case he retailates... :jocolor:

When I get mad, I get even....

I love karma. If it doesn't come around in it's own, I give it a little help.... :poke:

She always comes around, sometimes we just have get her pointed in the right direction. I sure hope Mr. Rectum doesn't retaliate and do something stoopid. Maybe he can actually learn a lesson and move on...

My secretary says that I don't get even, I get ahead..

Just let the dog out for the last bathroom break for the night, and he started barking...

I put on my shoes and went to see what all the fuss was about, and he was holding off 3 coyotes at the street.... They looked like they were thinking of triple teaming him, so I walked toward them and they started retreating...

So we walked after them to the end of the street across from the forest preserve to get the message across....

Call Rani !! She'll take care of that problem !!

Am I first today ??

I'm back. Went back to sleep for a while. Now to get on with the day !!

It goes rather well, thank you. I posted on your Suzy R/T thread. I saw the wood blocks , for the first time !

yea that was my B-body solution. if not then I have to move the seat so far forward that I am practically into the steering wheel which is not ideal.

A b-body is a big car but I don't do early A's so my options were get an early A wagon or go with a B-body.

A C-body is way too big and the A- is too small so Goldilocks bought a B-body :jocolor:

Here ...I'm here! I took the day off. and slept in.

that's great, probably a day off long over due ?

any car work in the plans for today?

I am not going to do any car work today because I have to go to the doctor and do some other stuff.

but now I am into sanding again LOL

I actually like the body work and prep stage better than the actual painting.

when your doing body work, you can take your time and make the metal do whatever you want. I don't know why but I feel rushed when the paint starts flying and I get too nervous and then start making mistakes.

that's why I love the body work stage and of course any welding makes for a great day :D
