Stop in for a cup of coffee

I've heard boot camp is totally neutered. Some of the things I hear about my step daughters half brothers are going thru is unbelievable.
When I was in, there was what seemed to be an active program to put down all the hard charging Nam vets like dogs you no longer wanted. I lost friends (and not in a good way).
they're doing that now with Iraq/Afghan vets to some extent.

oh get this..... they dont even have to have had a sex change surgery or even hormone therapy..... they can still be equipped as born and get to do that stuff

See that's my issue. The new changes are just making it tough to stay around. I mean, this whole transgender BS is one part of that. I dont care for how they are dealing with it, let them serve for all I care but the fact all they have to do is go to the CO and say "hey I feel more like a man(or woman), and get access to the opposite sex's facilities AND get to do the physical standards of their preferred gender for APFT they are held too is just too much.

And the military will pay for their gender surgery.... :wtf:

If they are that way fine, but don't make the taxpayers pay for a voluntary surgery... It's their choice, they can earn and save the money for it themselves...

How do you know that they won't enlist just to get the free surgery...

That is the impression I've gotten from talking to some vets. I hope they get a better shake. I'd say if you are over halfway to retirement. Suck it up if you can. If not, get out and drive on.

IMO the least desirable of any Hemi car. I loved mine as well, but they don't get attention by collectors.

I like the Charger style those years better than the Coronet... The Charger had some curves to offset the straight lines....

I have lots of friends in the Marine Corp. Our government seem to think our military personal are disposable like toilet paper. IMO. If you serve in a shooting war, you should be taken care of.

yeah, thats plan. As of now, if i stay in and retire at 20..... i barely get 400 a month BEFORE taxes at age 62. thats at an E6 level

Yeah, but after that 20, you can still pull off another entire career.
i know. I'll probably stick around, but itll be on a yearly basis i think. ive got about 20 months to make the call yet

I have high hopes they get that worked out. The VA hospital system. They just built a new medical center on Camp Pendleton. State of the art.
yeah now lets staff it with the lowest paid and bottle of the barrel doctors......:usflag:

course that doesnt count the service connected disability, I have had 3 major injures, 1 involving surgery. So I'm easily looking at some type of percentage.

I have a new holley 650 Carb I think I will put on the Dart to see if problem follows, the Idle problem.
