Stop in for a cup of coffee

I think I'm gonna talk to him. I know him well. I helped put his 69 Bee together.

Ive got a right front axle going bad on the Magnum. Blew out the inner boot. Anybody change one before? Thinking of changing it myself, but its my driver. So, just wandering if any 'special' problems i might encounter. Will i lose tranny fluid when it comes out? This thing doesnt even have a dipstick...

Sorry, Gotta git goin. Few jobs in the shop and work on the GTS. I'm Out. See Ya. Have a Great day !!

That video is more of a sales pitch for their reman axles. I did find a good you tube from eric the car guy. Doesnt look to complicated if I can get the right size socket for axle nut, dont know if I have any that big in metric. Prob loaner where i get the axle. I was just looking for specifics to the Magnum ( 300 or charger should be same). Its a 2005 3.5. I did find that they check fluid with a special dipstick to read temp? Might just do the axle and take it to local trans guy to check level ( same guy that helped me with my 904). I also saw a suggestion to take to dealer for oil change service and ask them to check it.

Here's the shelves that we are working on that I mentioned the other day:

Here they are with 6 engine cradles that I just built to hold the engines stable while being stored:

I have to load the bottom shelf first, then set up the top shelf for some more. Now we have to get the engines moved...

Do you have anything under the plywood? Looks like regular 2 wide pallet rack. Unless you have steel under the ply, i would put 2 pallets on there. Just screw blocks under them so they can't slide, and lay the plyboard on them.

Nice shelves KK

And yes they are nice shelves. Just not sure about that much weight on the plywood... Specially complete long blocks which you said you want to do.
Oh yeh... Damn you must have a lot of them by that pile of cradles! LOL

Yeah, they're not strong enough...

Just one engine started to buckle the 3/4" plywood. Not enough support underneath and I don't have time to mess with it, so I'm just going to arrange them on the floor and get the cars in, then think about it for a while....

The shelves are actually a foot depth too much and I would rather not waste that space...

Nice rack???

dang, you live the life.....I wish I could go hunting like that.

I thinks its more of a guy thing though. Plus the trek is probably really rough and I can handle a .22 and anything more is more like heavy artillery for me LOL
