though I did notice that the new truck is getting nearly 17 miles per gallon.. that's better than the Silverado by nearly 2 mpg

I'm figuring 3 tanks of gas for the round trip - so $150 +/-, which isn't horrible... plus "extras" - so $250/$300 for the weekend - again, no way to know if I'll have it until a few days before the target date..
Yeah. But the Silverado was paid off

Good morning, I just walked in so everyone can leave now
Just kidding...drive safe to work, Chris and Mike. I'll settle in at the big table in the back where the geezers hang out. Actually the sun comes up in an hour, I'll ride to the beach. I really like waking up early and greeting each day, might keep on doing it at least sometimes...back to work today.
