Telling my age now. I have owned it for almost 40 yrs. Got when I was 19 years old. Could never afford it now if I wanted to buy one. But I did restore it myself. :D:D

So that's your high school sweetheart... :love7:

its kinda weird how the prices go up ...even the same cars I bought 10 years ago are in some cases double or triple now.

I couldn't afford or find my own cars now in 2015. I bought a 67 cuda years ago for 1k and there is no way your going to find one in the same condition for that now.

Also married my HS sweetheart !! You met her. She was very gracious and didn't make me sell it when we Married !!

You hoarder.... LOL! :D

Yes, I did meet your wife, and she's a very nice woman and a keeper... Not every guy gets that lucky... :glasses7:

and the reality tv shows that make people think that they are made of gold....

The B-bodies are. A restored 68 Charger fetches $100k in Sweden.

Roadkill got me into this. And I think they've increased the interest in old cars A LOT in the general public. They're saying "hey, let's just zip tie it together and runnit" and that's a wonderful contrast to the showroom restoration that I think a lot of people are hesitant to undertake. Including myself.

And looking at prices here in Sweden, a 68-72 Charger is $20k in ANY condition. An A-body can be bought for $3k running and driving. An increased demand will - of course - up the prices for A-bodies too.

The b-body prices are high everywhere. Especially the 68-70 chargers. Ever since the Dukes of Hazzard tv show started in the 1980's that generation of charger has always been popular. Especially when people see them doing flying jumps and escaping police cars...

The General Mayhem didn't exactly improve on that...
