Stop in for a cup of coffee

On a completely unrelated topic, want to know what I hate the most? Snakes. Especially cowardly snakes. And no I'm not talking bout the reptile

duke boy might get deployed. That's what we were conversing about I thought. Hard not to talk about current events when your friends are involved.:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:
hmmm.... Thought it was a good general discussion and no stones were thrown that I saw. Oh well. Anybody got any good thong Thursday pics? lol

Watching Mecum Houston. Some good buys. Not many Mopars though. I saw a 64 Max Wedge Polara not sell for $24,000. LOL All Lots for Houston 2018

A dual quad 426 automatic car with power steering and a/c. My kinda Mopar.

not complaining, but find it amusing... this time yesterday our forecast was 100% chance of 3-5 inches of snow for Saturday. Now, no s word. 10% for any precipitation. :wtf:

With most of the weight in the back of the race car, the VW drum brakes would lock on the front. Didn't steer worth beans. It was a budget class and something "custom" like a proportioning valve would have been frowned upon.

Chrysler grooved the center on many of the shoe linings.

Just got back from driving to what used to be one of the best places to buy any sort of metal. Now, the new stuff is limited to mass volume and you have to put your order in at the desk. The original building and surrounding yard is 'surplus' and I did luck out there for a few things. They also still have lots of used machinery, tools, as well as new and surplus supplies. I picked up new US made cutting disks, and old stock light switches and recepticles. Also managed to find 7' section galvanized pipe for a clothespole and fence.

Unfortunately they didn't have the 2 x 2 tubing for the frame connectors in either new or surplus. We wanted .083" and all they had was 14 ga or 1/8. Nothing inbetween. So that will be another trip. :( Should be able to get it up near OMR's place. Speaking of OMR, he's been laying low...

No he's been on. In fact 56 min ago. Stopped in to turn us in for talking politics in the coffee shop and bolted.

Did you see the video I posted a while back with the Corvair in the vintage race? Similar situation in terms of weight distribution - maybe not as bad. Of course that's not a budget class. I'd love to see what all he's done to make that 4-drum system as good as it is.

I had to go to our equipment fabricator today to check off on the progress of some of the specialty equipment we are building.

Custom drive shaft anyone?

What's that going to be?
Those are big drive shafts for 10,000 hp drive motors. They are going to be on a giant mixing vessel that is bigger than a 4 story office building. The impellers look like they came off a ship.

This is what the 10,000 hp electric motors look like...

wasn't gonna drop names but yeah

We were talking about one of our members possibly being deployed to the border. Current events and nothing like the N&P section.
Exactly. Matter of fact, most of the post were actually constitutional/legal discussions
Well i guess joey saw it different.and it was beyond just that and you know it.

Yet you post pornographic avatars and highly revealing images all the time in here... yet all we do is ask you directly to stop, not run to the forum daddy and complain.

Pretty hypocritical of you to complain about 16 posts that only mentioned Trump once in a single postand that was merely reference his deployment order. The rest were all about how the Guard would deploy and their ROE.
