Stop in for a cup of coffee

Why have it toad and to where, when all you need is a new battery. That is obviously a battery problem only because all batteries will get very hot on the terminals during normal use. So to have one melt like that. Totally the battery.

Just put a new battery (since you need one anyway) and check the voltage with it running, you should should have 14 volts with it running.

I wish I could go check it for you.

I have roadside assistance on my insurance so I'll have it towed in, they'll put in a new battery and check everything. I don't have an easy way to go get a battery, where I live is far away from everything, and my other car is in the shop too.

I think I will start a vintage style travel poster series, one for each State.

Two down, 48 to go...

That is what I have needed for years. I have found myself changing a fuel pump on the side of the road before...... in blowing snow, because I refused to leave the car.

A broken z bar in 2016, a weld let go , so lost the pedal and had to keep shutting it off and on to control the engine all the way home.

Tire blowouts, snapped throttle linkage, going home on 4 cylinders. You name it

Be happy you have an old car to keep you busy, life can get boring with nothing to do

That's dandy Dave!
Figure I better start building some more stock for potential sales.

I did some intensive retirement planning today and determined that I can semi-retire and open a small part-time graphic arts business in 7 years. I can also flat out retire in 10 years and never need to make another penny.

I think I will go the graphic arts business route and get on with doing what I love earlier.:)

Besides, if it successful...I will probably never stop doing it anyway.

Today was nice.
Wednesday morning was a gorgeous sunrise.

Look at the image I gave you earlier today...or the Indy 500 that I have dozens of images of.
I sent that to my brother. His response: "you keep getting more projects, soon there'll be more project cars in that barn than cows"

Hey i have a question for you. Do you know where one could get an A body dash frame somewhere in Canada? I've got a friend up there who's been hunting for one for months. I've got one I've offered to give him but shipping is nearly a grand plus the customs tariff
