can we see the pics yet?!

you found a 40 ft for 3550?! delivered? When I looked a few weeks back when this came up, the best quote I got was 5200 delivered. In comparison, a DIY pole barn kit 36x40 from KY Steel quote came in at 5475, materials only of course.
Just a quick google search using your area as a reference.

3750 here. Sea cans arent all that hard to come by. Local guy wants 4500 delivered.

Focus wheel bearings today. My power wagon, 480,000 on original bearings.
Focus-80,000

Started with one bearing, but i hear a couple rumbles during road test. Supplied only one bearing. So i replace one and knock other side apart, other one cones in at 2:00. Hes my parts store manager, so i take good care of him.he has 7 vehicles to look after,2 company and 5 with the family.

I just went out and looked at space. Buddy has a contractor business in a huge building, fenced, lights, nice part of town. At one end he has 3500 sq feet attached with its own access. Heating, cooling, security, $500 a month...cash. Can put the truck and trailer in it and find someone with a large boat or RV to split it with me.

thats what i did. But what is annoying is prices are subject to change... so every one I called , gave me a different price than what was listed

he knows where you live...
he should, he's only shipped stuff to me twice and met me twice

I can only assume where I have met him twice, is close to his place. We met in two different places, but they were close to each other..
eh.. about 45 minutes from both of those places.

there's an old gas station along the old state highway that I inquired about buying. be a sweet hotrod shop. Has a show room from its days as a motorcycle dealer and a 40x80 pole barn that is climate controled.. Was closed by the state years ago due to failing to pay sales taxes over many years. State finally took the property. However, they wont sell it for less than the 1.8 MILLION the dude owed in tax revenue... It's gone to auction many times over the last 15 years, highest anyone has ever bid is 50,000. It's appraised for 68,000. But the state refused to let it go. They'd rather it sit and rot. They put the full 1.8 mil as the reserve.

The EPA and leaking underground tanks would scare me off there.

Found a "Cargo worthy" 40FT can, delivered within 50 miles, for 500.00. BUT it is in long beach. Long beach harbor is the largest sea crate harbor on the west coast. They have crates stacking up because of the trade deficit. They almost give them away there...

yeah. Thats the disadvantage being so far from a shipping port. i may check up around chicago. that's the closest inland shipping port to me.

I wanted to buy the 10,000 sf building, I was renting, from the owner, I knew. A year before I approached him about buying it, I called him, and told him that the EPA was snooping around it, about an old 1,000 steel fuel tank buried out front. Yep...sure enough, he called an abatement company out to excavate the tank, and dispose of contaminated soil. 6 months later I bought the building from him, after he replaced the roof, because, I told him it was leaking......:thumbsup:
