I was out at 18 officially though after I enlisted at 17, I wasn't home much anyway

I was out by 18. I moved into an apartment with 3 other guys I went to tech school with. Boy was that fun. Lots of crazy memories there!

I had to move out at age 18, right after my Mom and Dad told me, my room was not guest friendly....:lol:

Yep, different times, I was grown up by 15
I hear ya, I spent most of my life on my grandparents farm. my siblings, yeah, not so much. My cousin who's running for state Congress in SC, not at ALL but claims to be a farmer, yet never has once helped on the farm or any farm for that matter.

On another note, I may have blown a head gasket on the Jeep... Coolant tank is completely empty, gauge dropped out this morning, no coolant in oil or exhaust and no wet spots or leaks. WTF did it go? To the North pole?! :BangHead:

Check the vacuum system , the jeeps have hundreds of lines if I remember right

So anyone know?? On the big block 383 single snorkel air breather the nipple the hose from the oil breather runs to, can it be turned??
Mine points towards the firewall. So the hose off the oil cap like the one pictured, has to go and curve back to connect to the air breather.
The one pictured, points towards the front of the engine and looks like it should to me.
I wasn't sure if I could loosen it, turn it, and poxy, or glue it and do a little paint touch-up.
Any thoughts??

ive never tried, but most of the ones I've got all point towards the valve cover like your pic. could it have been bent?

Nope not bent. I saw another one at Carlisle aimed towards the back like mine.

It's a pretty small show. 30 or so show cars. 10 swappers and 30-40 drag racers. A fun show for us locals but hard to justify for you coming from so far away. Mopar's on the Mississippi is a much bigger show but smaller than Farmington.

when's the Mopar on Mississippi?

Nice! Trying to convince the wife to actually go with me to the Nats, she hates long car rides. Says she wont go unless there's a beach at the end of that drive...
There is a lake nearby.
