Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
And my bad mine does NOT have a single snorkel.
Posting before sufficient coffee this morning....my fault.
Just a round one Tim....that the one your thinking of??
Just that the hose connection angle is wrong, of course facing the wrong way, I think that is for a "C" body car,
This is what you need

I'm sure it's considered politically incorrect now, but Dad used to extend the gray water discharge line on the washing machine to the back yard to aid in watering the lawn. That much water that didn't go to the septic system. In the old home town part of town wasn't on the municipal sewer system, a friend's house backed up to a sand wash, common anywhere in the Mojave that is not flat. His neighbors had done the same trick with the gray water into the sand wash. Some creative fellow added some seeds from a controlled substance into the neighbors gray water. Low and behold 3 months later there were these bright green plants growing in the sand wash. Friend watches the plants grow to maturity and just as he was about to harvest some, the plants mysteriously disappeared.

Here are a couple pics.
See the nipple points towards the firewall...wrong direction in my opinion.

are they really that rare?!

Like a lot of things with the 67 Barracuda, probably a one year thing, but I'm not sure.

1967 and early 1968 A-body 383 4-Barrel. Note, this air cleaner looks similar to 1964-65 426 Wedge 4-Barrel unit but is black wrinkle instead of chrome and has a larger area around wing nut. Also used on early 1968 B-bodies. Note that 1967 cars would be equipped with an AFB carburetor and would use a different base plate with a smaller diameter hole for the carb than 1968 models. 1967 cars without cleaner air package (CAP) did not have nipple to connect to breather cap.

Oh my. The Harley Davidson faithful are going to be even more upset than they are now with the demise of the Dynas. 2020 an electric streetfighter/naked model, a scrambler/dual sport model, a conventional streetfighter, and one that looks similar to the old XRs. The big motors in 2020 are water pumpers . That will get their bowels in an uproar .

Put a pipe over it and see if you can move it, but not to the point of bending...:poke:
I have a restoration buddy here in town, that's pretty good at problems like this.
I also have a good friend that deals in 67-69 A-bodies parts. He might have one.
At least with him, I know I'm paying his cost and the ride for parts.

I say find a very good tig welder and have it cut off and tig welded back in the right position.
The restoration guy is a genius with the welder. He can do it all to perfection, amazing work.

Well that was easy....an easy half turn with pliers and its fixed.:D
I guess since I got the car that way I thought it was just screwed up....it was, just a half turn....lol!!
Sometimes we think to hard instead of just trying.:BangHead::BangHead:
I have NO idea why the previous owner (16 years) didn't fix it.
It didn't even have the proper oil breather cap.
Oh well, all done, and did notice it needed a crinkle paint touch up.
:thankyou: ALL!!

P.S. no youtube video made...pics available on request.
