Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yes, about 3 hours to the South. Listened to some audio on some news clips, the guys saying "There's going to be some people that will be disappointed that I did this". Ya think?
At least he only took himself out. Could have been FAR worse

Thats it for today. Pole shed bracing done. Cut a few sheets of metal and its just too hot.
I dont know how you southern’ers mange to get anything done in the heat.

So I ran the poly for about 10-15 minutes today. Got everything up to temp and hit each cylinder with the IR thermometer. Passenger side is nearly 200 degrees hotter, so I got looking and feeling, the butterfly on the manifold is rusted and I can't move it, even with a pip wrench. Dropped the pipe and sure enough, the butterfly is nearly fully rusted closed. I'm gonna have to cut it out it appears.

Wow, can't believe its that hot up there. Mid 70's here. Been threat of rain, but barely any happening. Just had the dog out and got ambitious...pulled a few weeds and something stung my wrist. I never saw it, but pretty sure it was a f'n wasp.

Had to remove the inner valve springs on the 440 today in preparation to break in the cam. It was nice to teach my boy how to remove them in the car. Good times! Getting closer to hearing this thing come to life.
