Don't rely on the non-factory diagrams. Use the ones from the Dodge shop manual for that year. Plymouth may be close but sometimes there were differences.found it on there! thanks
Lets see 'em.the harness in the polara is toast. melted connectors, melted insulation, not much to be salvaged.
Just wish I could find the interior and rear harnesses
That one is for non-insulated terminalsI need to get one of those. PITA to do them otherwise. I think this is the one I have that I used on packards for headlight relays. It did OK, but a lot of finagling (that's a technical term) lol

Some times you have to prod the horse to the water twice to drinkFeels like de ja vu all over again.
itd be close, i'll print the diagram off and go over but looking at it, its similarWonder if the 66 belve rear is the same might have one.
I've got access to set already, borrowing from my grandfather's AC specialty tools.Did you order a crimper it is special.
i got it, and you're right lolHahahaha.... My Post went Right over Hoppys head..........
I'll get some pictures this evening. Most of the damage is to the interior harness. The engine harness isn't as bad, just hacked to hell. The rear is destroyed beyond use, original harness completely gone and what looks like a trailer wiring harness spliced in, no connectors, they used generic spade connectors to hook things up back there. and wire nuts.Lets see 'em.
Then we'll decide.
Otherwise this all seems to be a dodge.
You may also need some mopar style female terminals like was shown in that thread. Dpeends what you're repairing (if anything)
nope.all of them are Similar! Have reverse lights in the trunk lid also?
that I do not have.Chris do you have a terminal removal tool also to get the old ones out of the plastic housing?
i want it done right. as in it not only functions but is durable and not a fire risk.Really depends how much you want to put into it really....
That thing is pretty rusty is the outcome worth it?i want it done right. as in it not only functions but is durable and not a fire risk.
Good stuff. Sold them for years. There's a lot of barrel connector tools for the pin style connectors. They need to be size specific to release the locking tabs.
nice, I'm off to ebay. That has uses besides the polara!
I don't know honestly. Right now, I'm only into the wiring set up for maybe 200 bucks. But there's a benefit that will pay big dividends for the dart. Part of the polara's purpose is to learn and make mistakes so I don't do them on the much more expensive and more important to get right for me dart project. The dart will involve a LOT more of a custom harness so I need to learn the basis of hotrod wiring. I figure it'll be worth it in the long run. That thing is pretty rusty is the outcome worth it?
