No for the connector kit to replace on the used harness he is getting. I use this style works well.

the harness in the polara is toast. melted connectors, melted insulation, not much to be salvaged.

Just wish I could find the interior and rear harnesses
Lets see 'em.
Then we'll decide.
Otherwise this all seems to be a dodge.

You may also need some mopar style female terminals like was shown in that thread. Dpeends what you're repairing (if anything)

That crimper I have does that "roll" on the wire just have to do it twice once on the wire retainer then on the bigger insulated part. DMC makes a great one but big bucks used to use them in the USAF.

Did you order a crimper it is special.
I've got access to set already, borrowing from my grandfather's AC specialty tools.

Hahahaha.... My Post went Right over Hoppys head..........
i got it, and you're right lol

Lets see 'em.

I'll get some pictures this evening. Most of the damage is to the interior harness. The engine harness isn't as bad, just hacked to hell. The rear is destroyed beyond use, original harness completely gone and what looks like a trailer wiring harness spliced in, no connectors, they used generic spade connectors to hook things up back there. and wire nuts.

Chris do you have a terminal removal tool also to get the old ones out of the plastic housing?

This is the set I have pretty much does them all. 20 on ebay

nice, I'm off to ebay. That has uses besides the polara!

That thing is pretty rusty is the outcome worth it?
I don't know honestly. Right now, I'm only into the wiring set up for maybe 200 bucks. But there's a benefit that will pay big dividends for the dart. Part of the polara's purpose is to learn and make mistakes so I don't do them on the much more expensive and more important to get right for me dart project. The dart will involve a LOT more of a custom harness so I need to learn the basis of hotrod wiring. I figure it'll be worth it in the long run.
