i need a good tool box, I don't care about brand, just want one that'll last. my craftsman one is falling apart, rusting out too. And its never been outside, or in moisture.
Permanent dirty fingernails are a real mechanic, a wanna be wears glove all day!!
Man that Snap on dealer must have hit the jackpot with that setup!

Yep. The mechanic is on food stamps but the S/O dealer is sending his kids to Harvard!

ToolmanMike is a rich man!!! And he even has a little money laid aside. He is rich because he knows the Hoppy man and the Tikester and others.
But I don't claim to be a mechanic!
They have a High overhead. gas, insurance, truck maintenance, buying the tools initially…….
I did buy a lot off of the trucks! We had snap on, Mac, and Matco come by every other week I think it was.
I was hanging out at my buddies garage and got to know the Snap on man. I bought a few things not a lot by any means and he got pissy because I didn't buy more. It wasn't a job I was just hanging out working on my stuff. He ended up going out of business. A friend gave me a big snap on tool box that needed the drawer fixed. I was wanting to buy the parts to fix it and he made a big stink about it because he didn't sell it to me. The drawer still isn't fixed.

My neighbor has been a Snap on rep for 30 years. He leaves early, home late, and then a few hours on the truck every night ordering. Fed Ex has his garage code, back in and unloads right into his garage. His double car garage is stuffed.

Snap On is like that. They train them that way. LOL
Which is why I've bought anything from the neighbor. In fact I don't know anyone here who has.
