Stop in for a cup of coffee

Oatmeal and blue berries for BK, whats on everyone's plate to keep there day going ??

Good morning from the humid low country. Not complaining, seeing NC. I stopped by Mr. Davis to check on "Rudy" my '95 Tercel, like the undersized football player just keeps going. Wheel bearing was noisy, he replaced it, then the spindle failed and I had it towed in...he replaced it at NO charge. Very, very nice of him. I'd like to thank him somehow. Hmmm.

Going to let a young coworker drive the Fury, helping me get both cars back home. He is 24 and the youngest server, has a little boy, his wife was too young I guess because she cheated on him with an older married man and he divorced her. I like Bret because he is helpful and takes constructive criticism and he's the eternal optimist, he never quits. He said he has driven an "old" truck but I know he's never driven a Fury!! Will buy him lunch at a home-cooking place nearby.

Flying out for MN wedding in the morning, will get everything ready today. September 2018 is a good month for me!

Dave hows the damage there?

None whatsoever around here. Myrtle Beach had some minor damage I believe, beach erosion etc. The upper corner of SC has some flooding. It gives you pause though to think we'd be just as bad as NC if we'd taken that hit.

Heater core is something im not looking forward to.
Owner is a good guy,and his stuff always whent to another shop in town(former employer).
Customer is the public works manager, and this will likely lead to more work.

Scrambled eggs with bacon I need to use up the package since I'll be gone several days!! I always start my day with grapefruit juice while the coffee is brewing.

Hey Ray. How's it up by you?
We haven't got too much rain and no wind so far.
I see a wide broken line sweeping over your part of the state headed this way today.
Glad we had a couple of dyas to dry out

grapefruit burns up fat, love the stuff , I need to get back on it

I remember doing a heater core in an 86 mercury cougar. Was like 100 screws. The ford dealer in town didnt want to do it,go figure.

Congrats to Keith and Kim. I don't think I can make it but we will be there in spirit.

Morning all....
Sorry haven't had much time for the coffee group. Been busy with the family guests we have here at the house.
We've all been there.

@toolmanmike friend who bought the 69 Swinger 340 4 speed has a build sheet. That car came with hardly anything but a radio and tire jack....haha No power or AC.
He doesn't need much a few hose clamps and clean it up. It was 40,000 miles, two owners, and original paint except for a small rear quarter accident re-paint years ago.
I told him to show it as a survivor for a year or two and then decide what to do with it.
