Taking a break from painting bathroom ceiling with a Milk Stout Nitro from Left Hand Brewing. Monogrammed tall cocktail glass to get the good long cascade. Cheers

Mark and Digger are going to make some weddin' cake shine! Go get em fellas!

Having a few cold ones here tonight. Ended the day with a 2 hour conference call that made me feel like my ears were bleeding.

I’m feeling better about my SRT after the near disaster yesterday from total brake failure. It can be repaired, but I will likely have to wait to Spring since it sits outside and I can’t bring it inside the garage with the GTS stored for Winter. No hurry since it is just a hobby car and can sit snuggled up in the driveway until then.

For now, I will just enjoy the evening and comfort of the shop as I contemplate the Spring car projects.

Hey Mike, ever hear of using a small piece of cloth wiped along the sides of the nose and behind the ears as a fire starter patch?

Just curious, it was something I learned from the Penobscot Indians of Maine that I am decended from. Was wondering if your had learned something similar.

So I walk into a local burger stand the other day, a locally owned independent entity.
They have two taps behind the counter.

Not that beer and burgers don't go together, but I think that's the first time I've ever seen it in a drive-in type installation.
Of course I had to ask if the Firestone was available at the drive thru

Hell, we got a drive-up liquor store. Why not? Fill my growler at the brewery and take it with me. Not sure how that works all of the sudden. I guess as long as the growler it's still full when the po po pulls you over.

They had a liquor store with a drive up window when I was in Blytheville, AR for my first job out of college... It was next door to the Holiday Inn there....

Got the SRT moved over to where the ‘66 used to be in the driveway to wait out the winter. Was a bit hairy trying to back it up and swing it over with nothing but the parking brake to control the actions of a 420 hp engine pushing on a 3.92 rear. Was quite the dance of shifting in and out of gear while using the parking brake to hold it back from ramming through the garage door.

Finally got it settled into place and disconnected the battery to wait out the Winter. The driveway is a mess of DOT 3 brake fluid puddles everywhere.

I will probably do the ‘69 front fascia and replace the brake lines as one big project. As long as it’s sitting nose in toward the garage, no reason to do them separately.

I need to get the ‘69 fascia off the shop bench anyway.
