Stop in for a drink.

I had used the wine delivery before. Never realized I could get gin and whiskey also. I was missing out!
We can get Bourbon's and such from places in California that sells wine. The label says wine but there's good stuff inside.

I need to update my photos.

I have a few dozen more stuffed in different places. My better bottles are in a old secretary.

Now I can save these photos and I will be close to up to date. It's not pretty but it's functional.

Manuel used whatever grapes the local wineries had a surplus of. Some years it was red, some years white, some years a blend. Most consumers preferred making wine coolers with it to mellow the alcohol % Back of the bottle says "No water. No filters. No ****." Manuel was a member of the local Elks Lodge and had the bartender there save the empty wine bottles for him, the dairy had the proper equipment to sterilize the bottles.

I should add to the above. Chateau Dutra as we called it was never sold that I know of, it was always gifted. Manuel's dairy was right up the street from the rock farm I worked and as neighbors often do, we traded services. He needed road materials, no problem, we fix him up. We needed fertilizer for the landscaping he had our backs  . Not too many early mornings went by that Manuel wasn't in our little office/control room for the asphalt plant enjoying a cup of coffee with us :) and discussing the news of the day.

It's hot out and time for something cool to drink. How about a Vodka Tonic?
