:disgust: What the strangest/craziest/weirdest...item/thing you've found in your A body?

Me? I have found two items that can be described as above...

The first was with my heater hoses... I remove them (after all in Hawaii, who needs heat?) and there were schrader valves stuck in the inlet (at the firewall) to the heater core, blocking the flow of coolant.

Second was...dang why does a spider keep building a web near my passenger rear tire...well I climbed under the car to take alook...fresh webbing...OH a body plug is missing! maybe some little SOB is living in my car...time to pull the rear seat out!

Looky...looky what I find...understand there are NONE IN HAWAII!!!! see photo!!!!:tongue6::puke::axe:

When I bought my dart in 1981 it had a half order of McDonalds fries in the glove box. They had been in there for years just banging around.

Bought a pinto wagon when I was around 20 (1980)for a winter beater car.Paid $120 cash for it.It was missing it's right front fender ,but came with one to put on.Had blow out front calipers and drove it the two blocks home on using the hand emergency brake. It had a good rebuildt engine in it after putting on the brakes and fender drove it two winters in a row until a guy smashed into it ,got $500 bucks from his insurance and $200 for the motor and helped install it.

Now for the strange part it had half a rotten egg plant in the back when I got it ,just laying there out in the open

i bought an 84 dodge pickup a few years back and found a big box of cash behind the seat! just kiddin could never get that lucky! i did find about a half a roll of casino tokens under the seat though. looked like they had been there for years. at the time there were no casinos around where i live, have no idea where they came from, never heard of the casino that was stamped on them. maybe ill dig them out some day and sell them on ebay and become an instant millionaire! ... once again wishful thinking!

That's what I thought. I Googled "black widow spider and that's what it is for sure! Be careful!! Mike

Bought a car a couple years ago and had it about 3 months when I was vacuuming under the seats and found a brass one hitter. Good thing I didn't get pulled over. Think the cops would have believed it wasn't mine?

Almost the same as hadahemi^^^ I found a roach in the back ashtray... musta been there for at least 10 years before I bought it. I also found a 9\16" wrench behind the splashsheild when I pulled the fenders.

When I pulled the dash pad in my Barracuda I found a couple of roaches that missed the ash tray.

Being a mechanic all my life I've found some strange things while disassembling customers cars. Guns...money...drugs...food...jewelery. The best? It happened about 20 yrs. ago when I worked for Porsche-Audi. I had to remove the door panel on a Porsche 944 to change the window motor. When I seperated the door panel a few pictures fell out from behind the door pocket. They were pictures taken on the family's boat, including a picture of the wife topless out on the ocean.

The entire shop had to take a peak at both the picture, and customer, when she picked up her car.

Dead mice in the Duster along with a credit card recipt from 1985. Gas was a $1.24 for regular.

In the Ramcharger I found a bunch loose firecrackers in the glovebox and when I cut the wheel arches out, I found two full beers and a bunch of emptys. They were dropping beers down the speaker cut-out into the bedside. Probably after they got pulled over for throwing firecrackers out the window, lol!

There was a thread like this a year or so back and IIRC I think someone found a revolver in their car they bought from their grandmother. It was a one owner car.

John, I take you're not allowed to keep the good stuff, lol!

Does tiny tubes of K-Y jelly scattered all through my 68 parts car qualify ?
One that wasn't an A-body but worth typing...
While working on the used car lot we got in a 5 door Chevy Citation that made a sloshing sound at stop and go. Took only a minute to determine there was water in the drivers door so I grabbed a creeper and a dental pick and poked at the weep holes. The door started peeing both water and glass.
20 minutes later I had a mess to clean up in my bay. All the windows had been broken out of this car and who ever replaced then didn't bother to clean to broken glass out of the doors. I estimate the car was holding atleast 30 gallons of water in the 4 doors.

That is just plain weird! The first words out my mouth would been "WTF?".

And for someone whom has that much lube with them you change the first word in WTF from What to WHO!

when my friend bought his duster, he got it home and looked in the trunk, it was full of BEER!! about 5 cases of un opened stubby beer bottles from at least the 70's early 80's so we sat there and drank it all skunked and everything

:snakeman: lol just kidding8)

My red '64 used to get this nice, toasty, something's-in-the-oven smell every time i'd put the defroster on. Pulled the hoses off one day - mice had stashed a few dozen hazelnuts down the defroster vents (fins were sun/dryrotted away).

My '64 Signet parts car had enough molted snakeskins in it to make a pair of boots. Under seats, inside doors, on top of the motor, all over the interior, etc. Didn't find any live snakes, though.

Not all that strange but I found a tv guide from the L.A. times from 1972
behind the back seat of my Dart.Kinda neat to see all the shows that were on :read2:back then .

This not a A-body find, but a C-body fined. When I bought the first C body car from a gentelman I knew that had mopars,he was in a bad situation.I got the car that he had driven and was his baby, and when I got it it was filled with every thing, tools, parts, etc.Bottom line is I was cleaning out the car(2 days of it)and put my hand under the seat to pull out a Tuff wheel still in its mopar box on the drivers side,so I sell it off to a guy in the states who rebounds them in leather for 200$,and tells me its the best wheel he has seen. The other side of the seat,I pull out a origanal mopar box with the dealer stamping on it from northern quebec dealer, and pull out the part, its a origanal 66-69 hemi air filter, never installed or removed from the box,and I remeber he had a hemi satellite. The filter goes on ebay and sells for 375$ to a hemi owner, mrmopartech

I found a vacuum gauge tucked up into the dash behind the radio when I was changing the heater core in my 64 Valiant. It was still hooked up to the motor and working, but the line was getting old and started leaking right after I discovered it.

not an a body but it was my 66 chrysler 300. got in it one day to move it and had a snake coiled up on the drivers side floor. now this was at my old house and we had rattle snake dens around and some pretty big ones at that. so first thing I had to do was clean out my pants hehe, second I went back to the car and got a good look at it through the pass side and realized it was just a bait snake non poisonous. I tried to catch him but ended up just taking him for a ride. I guess he finnaly left other wise hes in Texas now.
