what does the header look like on Passenger side?Thought I posted this already...
Thiscosst weekend, I got the 804 all mated up, starter on, harness mostly in place and moved my water inlet/outlets up front.. I'm running the factory AC and need the heater shutoff valve. So this works for me.
Was ready to drop everything in but found that my oil filter adapter wasn't gonna work for me. It was a knock off 90 degree thing. Ran the oil filter right into the mounting perch. So I'm waiting on a Mopar one. Should be here by the weekend

Right on brutha! I love the column shift too. I've always had a things for sleepers.. and nothing hides power like beige and a column shifter LOL. ALso, it's taken alot of head scratching but the factory AC will stay as well.Love you have kept the column shift. Total sleeper mode.
Wasn't your goal to have it done by summer? You're kicking *** getting this done. I think you will be done way before summer.
I did have to mod the Trx oil filter adapter.. Cut the drip drain off, due to it hitting the K.
BTW.. I still need to build a rear end. I'd like an 8.75 but in reality, it'll be an 8.8.. prices have just gotten way outta have on Mopar A body rearsLove you have kept the column shift. Total sleeper mode.

I've got a few months before I start to sweat haha. I have a lead or two on some 8-3/4 housings.. Guys are "checking their barn". Funny how so many people have barns to check Something will turn up.. Whether it's a 8.75, 8.8, 9" or a 60.My current plan is to get an 8.8 out of a Crown Vic. The later ones have 31 spline axles already, drawing a blank on the cutoff right now. Maybe ‘01? They have 3” axle tubes instead of the 2.875” on the Mustang and 3.25” on the Explorer. Then I am going to get some axle ends from Moser that allow ‘05+ Mustang brakes to bolt on and use pressed on 9” axle bearings so no c-clips.
Not the cheapest way, but maybe cheaper than an 8.75”. I think I can build it for less than an 8.75” chuck.
Just some thoughts.

I was going to I sell my buddy my spare 8 3/4 complete minus drums for $300. '71 Scamp he swapped the /6 for a 318, all he'd need was to shorten the driveshaft. Idiot traded it for an '06(?) Charger SXT with a ton of miles, said it was gonna cost him too much. The guy trading him couldn't get that Scamp on the trailer fast enough.prices have just gotten way outta have on Mopar A body rears

I paid $450 for it years ago with a work out sure grip and 4.10's, had it in my Dart that saw very few miles. My friend sold me an open 3.23 axle for $500, and threw in a pair of new SS springs. Surprised me, he got them for free. I figured I'd pass along the savings to that guy with the Scamp. He traded a very nice car for a POS.I need a $300 8-3/4 in my life...
Good info.. raised a question or two out of mine concerning pressures, with the poster. I'm still rolling things around in my head about that.Have you seen this post about the Borgeson box being twisted a little?

Don’t know if it is helpful in regards to your potential tie rod issue or bumping the pan, but more info can’t be bad, right?
Yup.. ElongateTTI requires you to hog out the mounting holes in the Borgeson box? Didn’t realize that.
Keep in mind, the picture shows more front to rear room than there really is.. Or was on my shorts. They really could have given more room. I can almost promise that what's pictured is not an A body with shortysTTI requires you to hog out the mounting holes in the Borgeson box? Didn’t realize that.
The sublime "Quick Run Harness" had a few perks for me.. Saved me some money since I had a good oem harness. It also has radiator fan relays built into the panel with stock plug for dual charger fans as well as air-conditioning relay and trigger lead. The AC relay utilizes the oem compressor wiring.. Few less things on my to do list. But the compressor needs to be the single plug style compact.. Jeep I think. I had to use anyway for space. The kit also comes with whatever throttle connector you need. In my case, I'm running a bellcrank, which is standard on his harness. What made you go with the sublime wiring harness? Does this use a cable throttle or the fly by wire. Still not sure what harness i want to use? So guessing you have to use a computer from then so it by passes all the stuff not connected. Do they lock it or not as if want to go bigger cam and tune etc guessing not an issue?
Is the little module on the loom another fuse box for the harness its self?
