You mean I can put 276/60/15 tires on without mini tubs?

when I measured the width of my duster's wheelwell, I got about 12.3" wide to the inside lip of the wheelwell. that lip is about an inch wide, so you could trim or roll it for more clearance. theoretically being super precise on backspacing, wheelwell wise, you should be able to fit up to 295's in a stock wheelwell (12.3"=312mm)On a Duster, yes. As long as you get the wheel centered up with the proper backspace for your car.

fair, granted you can probably get another 3/4" by trimming or rolling the quarter panel lip (it's over an inch wide on my car)....run some 20's with 3" sidewalls and an IRS that won't have the side-side flex of leaf springs on shackles then maybe as well....lol.
Sure, as long as body roll isn’t a thing. Or sidewalk flex. Or suspension flex.
So no, not even theoretically. Because even theory can calculate how much the sidewall will flex.
Realistically you need a 1/2” for clearance on the quarter side, and not much less than 3/8” on the spring side unless you’re running really low profile tires.
Well i have the tires on 295 65 15 and i did roll up the lip but i did not really need to because the the fender sit above the tire like the 275 60 15s did , I do have shackles on it . To this point so far and from what i have done I have not had any issues.fair, granted you can probably get another 3/4" by trimming or rolling the quarter panel lip (it's over an inch wide on my car)....run some 20's with 3" sidewalls and an IRS that won't have the side-side flex of leaf springs on shackles then maybe as well....
and if he's only going 1/4 mile at a time in a straight line, I'm guessing you can get away with less clearance as well, since you typically don't have to give as much clearance for lateral movement...
When you get the opportunity can you please let us see a 16 inch on your car.My back rims are reverse so the rim center is more inward.I bought the wheel backspace Guage and it was perfect to help select backspace and tire size. I think speedway sells it. I went with 16×8 on my 66 dart. 4.5in backspace no modifications.
both are 29 14.5 yes they are the same tires. this is a picture of 28 14.5What size are the tires with the hotrod photo and the photo with the trailer are they the same size tires.
