I forgot how sexy that bottom-end was!! ;)

i had put that cover on and it was still leaking a little and i got this one with some other things for free and aluminum covers always seal better

Worst part was when I dropped the grinder on my thumb cut a two inch gash right to the bone hurt so bad I broke out in a cold swet

Yup, I've done the same damn thing. First thought is, no that just didn't happen! :banghead:Then fckn A that hurts like hell as your covering it putting pressure on it, thinking now I gotta look at the damn thing then the cold sweats and shaking. i actually had beads of sweat on my arms i could see! Since the last time it happened I wear welding gloves everytime using the cut off wheel & grinder. Pain in the *** but I've cut the gloves a few times instead of myself.

you know i have done this quite a few times in my life and I get smart for a while and were the gloves but i had a sanding disk on it and and never even thought it would bite me like the grinder and cutoff wheels do but i was wrong it just took a bigger chunk out maybe this time it will sink in that i really need to were the gloves it was bad enough that i probably should have went to get it stitched up

Yeah I sometimes forget the gloves on that quick cut. Hard to stitch something up when there's nothing there. I guess they could graft on your pinky toe.. Lol :D

Being a bodyman for most of my life I feel your pain. I have a pair of Kevlar gloves specificaly for this reason. They fit tight enough I can pick up a dime wearing them. I wear them when I use anything that cuts metal. Didn't help much when a window regulator popped loose in a vise and nearly took my bird finger off at the last knuckle.

Whatever it is, don't start working under the influence! ;)

BTW, I use superglue instead of stiches! It really works. Just burns a little at first :)

super glue does work! my dad used to use it in cold weather on the ski patrol because its easier than trying to stitch someone up with your hands frozen.

on the note of the kevlar gloves, I have like 6 pairs from the junkyard and I swear by em cause I woulda probably lost a few digits without em!

Yeah, I know! Its cause it is for a Mopar! Same damn materials as a Chivy. I bought one for my Prostreet Ram and was nearly $400 :banghead:

400 is what cost me with the shipping best price I could find

Whats up with the medical tape lol! Throw some damn dirt in it and roll man!

Normally that's what I do but laid it right open and I was looking at the side of the bone in my thumb I did the super glue trick they were talking about to close it back up then taped it up
