Looks good!! May want to fab up a heat shield for it as well. Not to sure how good that wrap works. I only had it up to temp but never under a load. I could lay my hand on the downpipe when it was idling. I did seem to hold the heat in a while after it was shut off though!

got both the alternator and the power steering pump brackets built and on built a small heat shield for the alternator then put in the radiator, man are those fans going to be tight i am pretty sure i can get them in there but there won't be any spare room also installed the rack and pinion unit

Yep that sucks having those flanges on the engine side of the radiator support. Without those you can mount the core against the support after some trimming. I know it isnt much but 1/2-3/4" is the difference between yay and nay in that sitch.

How much room do you have from fins to WP pulley bolt heads? I even had to go as far as to use button head allen bolts on my junk.

i used the small ARP bolts so the center sticks out further than the bolts do right now i have 4" on the center of the power steering pulley and 4 1/4" on the alternator pulley and about 2" on the water pump

Looks like you have the alt and ps sharing the same belt? I know mine was good until I used the 2nd belt groove for the ps, then I had to move my fan assembly all the way down.

ya i was thinking about separating them until i found out how tight it was so there going to stay on one belt

Bill from RMC has developed a better axle bracket for the street links i bought from him I had called him to ask a question and he told me about it so i ran up to his shop and traded the hardware out he just did a strait swap i wish everyone i did business with was as conscience as he is what a great guy to do business with.

took the radiator out again and drilled out all the spot welds holding in the bottom radiator support and got the new front lower radiator support installed today

Looks good Dan! Gives a little more clearance for the crossover pipe from the driverside header too.

400 is what cost me with the shipping best price I could find

Uh, I forgot to mention a little piece of info about the balancer. It is thicker than the stock one! A new pulley will be in your future bro! It will throw a wrench in your progress but whats new, right??

I am going to have to get some new pulleys anyway there is not enough belt on the crank pulley it will slip like crazy so going to get a 2v for the crank and it looks like i will have to have it made because none of the factory style pulleys will do what i wanti am going to step the alternator back some and it will be buy its self with the back crank groove and ill run the water pump and power steering pump off the front grove

just kept looking at the radiator support and finally decided to go ahead and move the radiator back as far as i can which is 3/4" of an inch lot of work for 3/4" of an inch went and welded a lip on the back side of the header panel and it it had to change some what do to the hood latch assembly also had to build a gusset around the pull arm because it sits towards the engine bay 5/8" of an inch past the face of the header panel then cut the lip off the back side and fabed up two filler panels to rebuild the face of the radiator support i tin knocked two holes in them one for the inter cooler pipe and one to get air to the intake and help cool the turbo only got one side welded in still have to weld the other side in tomorrow

From the looks of it, you will still be able to mount the intercooler in the original spot I had it right? If I remember correctly there was about the same 3/4" gap between the radiator and the intercooler.

Good work! Get busy! Looks like another winter storm headed your way :(

It sucks to do but it beats overheating with too small of a radiator. A 2 row race radiator will fit without surgery but no way will it cool in the summer.
