Will, why no intercooler? I'm guessing theres a reason for this (this is an extremely well thought out combo)

Slant6racer, that is a slick intake! I hemmed and hawwed about making one like that design but ran out of room up front so I took a longer route. This is Peesh-pipe 2.0 still building, MS2 or Diy-efi Jaguar 0.6 controller with EDIS and "Bung-head" injector placement. Still need to install blow-off before TB. Building these are funner than Legos!

I think that as long as you have a plenum you can introduce the boost anywhere. I did not have a plenum before and it caused turbulence and distribution issues. We should see some great things from these turbo slants this upcoming year.

Where's the "LIKE" button?

Just post your questions and advice on here; there are several people building turbo slants and I'm sure they will be interested in wht you are accomplishing!\You're gonna have SO MUCH FUN with that turbo slant!!!!! Nothin' like it...

I like your setup. Maybe one day I can take a look at it sometime. Hopefully, when my Dart is done. :D

Dude, that sounds great! I was raised in a 1974 3 liter BMW so I have a soft spot for straight sixes. It was N/A of course, and no where near this level of performance but still ...

Is that a fully tube front end? Seems like there is a lot of open room up front. Any helpful advice on that exhaust manifold? Other than weld them up to come out at a small slant and throw a t3/t4 flange on it? I will probably have a lot of questions for you in the future. I'm researching everything on a boosted slant with something like a Borg Warner extended tip snail of some kind. A lot of info from bill so far.

Also did you run your boost source on the valve cover or what is the threaded brass fitting where the pcv would normally be?

I know it's a lot of trouble, but if you are REALLY interested in trying to get over 2 HP per cubic inch out of a slant six, I would think that you ust would HAVE to build a dedicated header and not try to use the stock exhaust manifold at all.

My header is just my own interpretation of something that might work efficiently. i HAVE no idea WHETHER IT ACTUALLY DOES.... Here are a few pix...

DYI? I'm truly impressed. And inspired. I really want to make my own headers but I'm not sure I can pull it off. MIG, TIG, Ac/Ox or stick?

I have to get my own welder and actually learn how to weld first. That is one of the few skills I do not possess at this time. I can do damn near everything else. Just got done moving the car and everything to DC and got my bigger rear end/and Weld Prostar wheels and tires. But now its about time to start the winter overhaul of the Dart. I was trying to find a spare slant that I could build on a stand while the other motor is still in the car but its not looking like I'm going to have any luck.
