What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Installed the set of Edelbrock Max-Fire wires that came free when I bought an Air Gap from Summit. Glad to get rid of the yellow Accel wires!

If I never have to make up a set of plug wires again in my life, I'll be happy. Damn fingers hurt!!

Also added a manual choke cable to help with cold weather starting and warm up.

That looks great! It seems like you got good practice doing the passenger side, so you must be a professional at it now.... here's another one you can do... I got beer?

Put on a big pot of coffee. Double Sugar & Cream. And count me in. Side note: My rule to myself is no drinking in the garage while working on the car. Afterwards? Game on. I'll crack open a beer. I have too much invested to make stupid mistakes with open booze.

Ok, most of this is happened yesterday. Got my old box out and new Borgeson in. Replaced one of the tranny lines with everything out. Have to wait till Spring now to drive it.
I'm having a beer watching Wisconsin & Northwestern football not much happening on car. I have 5 months to get done

Look at all that extra space in there! Looks great!

I dont mind the height, I have old and very soft 5 spring rear springs. Ill replace the springs next year, Mopar SS springs look great on the 67-9 darts imo.

I was just trying to help stiffen up the soft rear springs until I'm allowed to get some new springs... which will turn into a rabbit hole... spring relocation and 275s lol... then since I'll have such big rears ill have to convince the wife I need a stroker... and not the kind your thinking of, one for my engine. :poke::rofl:

Haha I got one that was an damaged/open box. So it was 20 dollars and change.

The car is on a slope, but here's how it sits. 215/60/15 front and 245/60/15 rear. I only drove it around the neighborhood but it felt a little more stiff in the rear. Ill take it for a longer drive in a bit, my wife says I've been working on it to much today... I bled the brakes as well, 2x.

I like the rake

HAHA - no - its one of those folding plastic tables temporarily set up in my office in my shop.
Why not? I built a 383 on my sturdy kitchen table once... got four friends to come over with a chain and an eight foot 6x6 beam, and we carried it out to the car :D

Today I changed carb jets for what I really hope is the last time. Also cleaned the leaking oil from the right front corner of the pan/girdle/timing cover intersection and plastered the area with RTV silicone. Hope that will hold it until I feel like pulling the pan off again someday!

In my bachelor days, I used the kitchen table and dishwasher for carb rebuilds. I'm married now, and much more.........refined.....

looks like you have the Wagner adjustable PCV. did you notice any difference or issues using it?

What is happening here?
workin' on the car... i know you know what that looks like

the night shot is a couple weeks ago. the other is my GV install creeping along. thanks to some timely advise from @HemiDenny i was able to make a last minute adjustment to the tunnel without having to back track very much. :thankyou:

looks like you have the Wagner adjustable PCV. did you notice any difference or issues using it? With the sniper I had to set it on fixed orifice and disable the cruise side of it as it was causing some issues with the afr reading lean and would richen up more than needed to be . Now working well as it sits . With a carburettor I cannot say as I’ve never tried it with one . Whats nice about it is you can fine tune it depending on the engine setup unfortunately with the sniper setup they recommend a fixed pcv to overcome some drivability cliches !.
