Got the brake lines finished up on my 66. More importantly, there's still plenty of room left for exhaust.

Gave the old girl her second bath since being reclaimed from off-season storage.
She's back to being my daily driver again. Turning heads wherever we go:)

Wait. I thought something else was the best profession? Oh that's oldest profession in the book. Never mind. :(

I am wishing I wouldn't have a annual doctor's visit (not parking in the crazy hospital parking lot), then PT and teach class, then driving home at Deer Thirty. Mid/Uppers 70's and sunny...Would be taking the car otherwise.

Picked up this original 1967 R/T hood louver locally for a good price. I'm going to clean it up, paint it and add new chrome, and it is going on the Charger

...was docking around with my spare 340 build, cleaned rust off the block and started painting it Chrysler orange. Spent money on parts ...

Got a lot done these past few weeks, after i did the 11.75 brake upgrade my milodon high flow water pump that was only 2 years old started leaking barely out of the weep hole only when it was sitting. Bit the bullet and ordered a flow kooler and got it installed. All new coolant. Was going to replace the t-stat with a robert shaw but it came damaged from summit so i sent it back and just kept the milodon high flow t-stat in it. Replaced all the cooling system hoses and routed the heater hoses a little better around the fuel line. Swapped all of the stainless hose clamps out for black stainless hose clamps to clean up the look a little bit. Replaced all the fuel hoses and Installed a earls performance aluminum 100 micron stainless mesh serviceable fuel filter in place of the standard metal fuel filter before the pump and finally got rid of the plastic fuel filter before the carb and replaced it with a edelbrock aluminum 40 micron stainless mesh screen serviceable filter. Also installed a edelbrock fuel line from the filter to the carb to replace the rubber hose and clean up the look. The pass front was looking bare in the engine bay so i Installed a chase bays black anodized coolant overflow tank. Got another billet specialties cap to match my other billet specialties caps. Got the engine bay detailed now i just have to wax the body before the car show this weekend.

@71DodgeDemon340 you have been very busy!!

Your bay looks awesome!! Very clean.

I sure have and thank you, it all started with upgrading to 11.75” brakes lmao. That turned into new rotors, calipers, caliper brackets, stainless hoses, new aluminum master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, rear drums and shoes. Got all that done and then the water pump started to leak lol i was like come on man. Glad it all worked out, im also glad flowkooler has a 2 year warranty.

Day 3 on the 64 Barracuda front end (Day 1 is post #7955 and Day 2 is post #7958). Got the Mancini Torsion bar removal tool in the mail yesterday so today I resumed working on the passenger side again. Tore everything apart again (getting good at this and it comes apart easy now), attached the Mancini tool to the torsion bar and started pounding on it and nothing moved. Got a bigger hammer, then the Mancini tool started sliding on the bar. Tightened up the bolts some more and of course one snaps. after a quick break I go at it again and still nothing moves. Time for the 20 lb sledge (I used to drive spikes on the RR), after about an hour of hitting this tool, the torsion bar finally starts to move but it did fight the whole way out. Put on the new strut rod bushing, lower control arm (with new bushing), new shocks and put everything back together. Car drives really nice now with all new bushings on the front end. Front end alignment is Monday then next job is new rear springs (I'll post about that when I tackle that job).

I installed a new (used bought from a FABO member) electric fuel pump.

The Carter pump I had quit last Saturday while out on a drive.

Turned out to be a pretty clean install. It's not as close to the muffler as it looks...I didn't think to get a photo while it was up on 4 jack stands. I plumbed in a gauge just to check and it's right at 5 lbs.

Hopefully this one will last!!

VERY nice. Well done sir!!

Kept the ball rolling and did the Turn Signal return cam on the Barracuda (since I found the new one while looking for a switch for a fellow member).
Edit: Went around the block and after 4 turns, the left return cam broke. Guess I'll get another and try again.

The black hose clamps are a nice touch.
