Stopped into the local Transmission Shop to match them up with the proper Small Block 727 dust shield/inspection cover.

Here is what I saw when I got there:

Super clean body, outside and underneath.
340 / 727, 8 3/4, new 2" dual exhaust.

Linkage was a little too close to the bulkhead. So cut the arm and flipped it. I made a jig to keep everything aligned too.

I got both sides of the disk brake calipers on & both sides of the park brake cables hooked up.Had to move the cable bracket back about an inch. Then welded some more threads to the front main cable. On to the brake lines next week.

Drove to a cruise-in last night and another this afternoon, despite the 90+ heat and oppressive humidity. When the car is moving, or I'm sitting in the shade in a portable chair, the heat's not too bad ;) Engine stayed under 195 on the highway and 185 in town.

with a hi volume pump it is good to drill extra holes in plate. clean area well and use adhesive on a new gasket. on an initial break in of a new engine , especially in cold temps preheat oil

I have been chasing a couple issues since break in - high oil pressure and a leak from the oil filter. Hoping to kill two birds by modifying my 4 hole back plate and gasket refresh.... stay tuned

Looks like a scare bird kit, those must work pretty good. I've considered buying a scare bird kit myself. They seem very effective for the money.
Yes maam

I have been real happy with them

I spend a little more and bought the entire kit from them, rather then buying the brackets and piecing it together myself

If I remember correctly, they even tossed in a second set of brake pads to make up for a shipping delay

Finished setting up the complete kickdown linkage for our friend's '67 383/727 setup.

Took @72Dart6pack advice and flipped the ball joint at the upper firewall linkage. All setup and working properly now.

Made up from a box of parts I had on hand, lots of thinking, fabricating, and working to get the geometry right, so things clear and push as needed.

Out the door she went, and now I get my shop back.

Glad I could help.

Worked out two of my issues. The drivers side compressor support just needed to have the bolt holes opened up to 1/2 inch to line everything up. The coil bracket wouldn't work because the front manifold boss was higher and interfered with the passenger side compressor support. A little bending and cutting and it works. Also got the alternator installed.
