Well I got incredibly lucky today. Scrolling through craigslist during breakfast and seen this 70 duster grill showed up for $100. Its 99% perfect condition very old guy very nice guy. Good buys are still out there.
Working on some lower control arms
I'm looking for one, saw one Facebook, describe as very nice...only a few broke fins and painted black black...$400

Man i have one included with a car im selling and I'm only asking under 1500 for a whole car and 2 parts cars worth of parts lol. Guess I'm to cheap that's why no one wants it
I was heading to a car show tomorrow morning, but show season has been cut short. I decided to check the front wheel bearings because I noticed some noise coming home last week when turning. When I got home I noticed some black dust on the passenger side wheel. The wheel bearings were fine...but all of the wheel studs were loose in the hub on the passenger side. I have all of the parts for a disc brake conversion, but I am done for this season.

Car show in Mount Holly, NJ today. Beautiful day for it! Funny that several guys said they heard the rear window was worth a fortune. I also heard one lady say her husband had one but after an accident, their insurance company would not total it because the rear windshield didn’t break.
Pretty productive last few days. Got the hood painted satin black. Quickly found out that the numbskulls over at Unlimited fiberglass didn't drill the hinge holes correctly so I had to modify the hinges and repaint them. Total pain in the ***.
But it turned out really nice in the end. Cage and nitrous system have been ordered. She's coming along.

Drive shaft finally made it to the shop to get shorten. Demonx2 would be so proud of me.
Transmission dropped off for rebuild today. Gonna have it beefed up a bit... little more low end and better bands and flow. Stoked to get it back
Drove it. Driving season is winding down, will be in the high 40's by middle of next week. But today.... it was a beaut of a day out. Mid 70's. Drove it up to Donner Lake, could not have been a better day.

Got her cleaned up for the local toys for tots cruise in tomorrow. My mom made me get a few things for girls lol.
Test and tune night !
Pulled the melted down voltage regulator off the firewall...cleaning up the sticky mess.
Cleaned up the transmission tunnel while it's out for rebuild. A lot of old grease and dirt under there. I'm happy with it all though. Not super show car clean but good for my driver. Still need to prime and paint the tunnel.
