What have I gotten myself into?

So I shared a picture on facebook and the page put it up on thier home board or wall or what ever. 2700 likes in under and hour and so many awesome com.ents on how sweet she is. I am still in denial is she really all that they are saying she is?

And you will love it. Dude it takes a certain kinda crazy to do what I did especially considering I didn't have 50-60 grand just laying around to hand someone and say build this for me I'll pick it up in 6 months. I still don't even know how I'm going to pay for a 3000 transmission yet.

I couldn't keep it on here either-I put the picture up on my own FB profile and made sure to throw up the disclaimer that it wasn't my picture or property, and referenced your build thread.

Already got a couple likes...

I don't know if I'd say crazy...more like; goal-driven, ambitious, unrelenting, perseverant...

I don't think I'll go quite so far with the grafting of the bumper into the body like you did, but I definitely dig the idea of cropping the drip rails and modifying the window channels with newer style gaskets without the chrome trim...don't get me wrong, I dig chrome, but it's not really my style. I've also pondered installing '73-up doors to get rid of the leaky/noisy vent windows...

with the help of several FABO members , we have worked to refine this K into one sweet piece.

new K-frame/motor perches will shortly allow the same K to accept most of the popular Mopar motors. The 340/360 small block, 383-440 B/RB, and the new gen Hemi will swap out simply with an inexpensive spool mount change.

I really enjoy the challenge of a custom build, and you can ask John and the others..it didn't cost anymore (from me anyways)

Still, what gives me the biggest grin is being a small part of these builds...it is a blast!

you guys are nuts....just like me.
 
I have no idea how FB's search page didn't find you...found another guy in Bartlett with your last name...and google searches only brought up obits for the first few hits...
