I went to a plastic fuel cell, but only because the fuel in my original '62 tank was so varnished I was afraid to run the stock one. Not to mention I knew it really needed to have a sump for the hard launches. I wouldn't be afraid to run E85 in a stock steel tank though.

Out in the garage again today... hoping to finalize the hot side routing at least for the passenger side. There will be two different hot sides for the driver side. One for manual steering, and one for power steering. Those will be next on my to-do list.

After that the hot side will go to the mandrel bender for costing/manufacturing tweaks. Depending on how quickly things go, I will probably start my season with my old S475 stuff, but am hoping to get my kit in my car for initial testing mid-summer.

I wasn't sure if it would eat the tank up or not. I already bought an in tank Aeromotive Phantom Flex in tank pump to install in the tank. Since, one I'm tired of hearing the Holly running and 2 it is made with a baffle and bladder so the fuel doesn't slosh, and 3 it will work if I go fuel injected. But, it works with gas or e85.

I love seeing the updates. I can't wait to be able to buy a kit. As long as the kit doesn't fall apart or anything, I don't need to see any testing to prove how good they are before I would buy one.

Oh, can you run a blow through carb on a car even without boost? That maybe a stupid question :???: but I have never used one to know.

can you put up a picture of the exhaust? I'm considering putting a twin turbo set up on my demon. I like your set up though. Its way simpler than my idea of custom headers and such. How much heat does that create under the hood?

Ha ha ha... I'm 100% sure I'm not the first one to gauge interest, and neither were you. Top Fuel Dart offered kits a few years ago without much success. I believe the key is to tool them up, and produce a lot of them to get the cost down for everyone.

I'm all for seeing mopar turbo stuff, and growing the hobby.

Care to share any of your past turbo mopar cars, dyno numbers, or ET?

Mine's roughly 780hp, 9.88@137.67 on street tires at 3700lbs. How about you?

Love this but wonder how I'd go putting it in to a R/H drive car.

Unfortunately I have no idea if it would fit a RHD , and no real way to try it on any cars around here. My guess is that the downpipe would hit the master cylinder. Other then that it SHOULD fit though.

Interesting. Depending what the cost would be, I'd still consider the kit and get the downpipe or another modified to fit.

I wonder if I could just have the top tube facing the other way (away from the master and steering box for us down here).

Any rough idea what the cost will be?

No crickets... don't let the sound of the cutoff wheel working away confuse you... lol

Priority right now is to get my '62 back together for race season since I spent all winter on the turbo kit stuff. Just got the new PTC converter back yesterday and trans is back in the car today.

My plan is to start testing the new kits this summer on my car, and work out the bugs from there.

I understand the R&D is necessary if you want to produced a good kit. I'm sure you will update the thread when there is reportable information to post. Thanks for your efforts.

I'm pretty interested and would love to turbo my car. Gapped my rings for it too. Will you be at Norwalk this year? I don't live far from there and would love to check the car out.

Count another one sold! I'm very interested in your product, seems like you are being very thorough. I wish you'd stop being so selfish and get these kits ready for sale instead of playing with your own car, though ;)
