It’s a shame your FIL didn’t talk about it much, looks like it was a really well built car in its time! I definitely think it should be more of a preservation than restoration. That’s a once in a lifetime type of find.
Between this post and feedback on Facebook, I’m fairly confident I can run about any intake with it. Multiple guys have ran the Weiand Stealth and Summit shows it being slightly taller than a Performer RPM Air Gap. The only intake I could find taller than the Stealth is a Torker II.
Thanks for...
An LD340 is my top choice but I haven’t been able to find one yet. I didn’t figure a Performer RPM would fit, so that’s good to know! Which Weiand is that?
I’m looking at intakes for my 340 Demon and I want to run my factory air cleaner to stay as factory appearing as possible. What intakes have you guys been able to use? I assume anything high rise like an Air Gap is out, but is mid rise still an option?
Engine is currently out and unfortunately...
Can anybody help lead me in the right direction to find out what converter this is? Has 764 written in marker and looks like 28281 stamped. Thought it may be aftermarket since it’s painted blue.
Looking for an LD340 intake. This is the last thing I need for my 340 refresh and I’ve been a day late on 3 of them now. Help me out FABO lol
Close to SE Ohio would be great, but I can pay for shipping.
The swap meet was great if you had a B or E body. A body stuff was few and far between, and seemed like it was either brand new repops or pulled out of the Ohio river on the way to Columbus.
I think Roadkill Nights in Detroit has pulled almost all of the corporate backing and big names away...
