Are you pushing the rear mounted distributor engine down the street or to the dump. lol just kidding
Progress is always nice.
.
What I should have done was put a fan on it and a battery and some fuel and start it up and let the fan pull it down the road.

Engine and car are now in the same garage. I did prime the pump on it with the cordless drill. Showed 80 psi.

Do you care to provide the internal details of the engine

.
I put a new oil pump in it and timing chain and a chain tensioner and drilled every other piston for compressor enhancement.
I'm figuring about 2000 hp.
oh a secret build, I see. But it still has the distributor in the rear, so it can't be much of a secret. lol

Yeah I had to move it from the front for muffler clearance.

You missed the lack of a water pump. It's air cooled frees up about 200 hp not having to drive that power robbing pump and coolant. Plus less weight so I can run my super flow cast iron truck intake. This is some Top Secret go faster stuff so don't tell anyone.

crackedback - hey, I need your expertise :)
I'm not much for bolt in frame connectors, but in this instance I might like the idea. Your thoughts on how well they perform their function ??

I asked the question, didn't I ? LOL...
Crackedback was the first one that came to my mind for the answer.
I reckon if you had them already or someone gave them to you for nothing you could drill holes and get into there and bolt them in maybe. But why someone would spend over $150 for basically A straight piece of metal that you usually end up having the weld in anyways is far beyond my comprehension. Me personally I just went and bought a 10 ft piece of Steel for thirty bucks and had them cut it into two 4ft pieces and a 2-foot piece left over. Worked like a charm.
