    You can remove instrument cluster, join amp meter wires, and run the engine that way. Just make sure no other dash wires touch ground. The scum bag shop might have amp meter wires on wrong studs behind dash.

    Evans can make you a new one. I believe it also has the wire for the fan in same harness. I had Evans make one for me back in 2008 or so. And yes AC Compressor wire is blue. Given that wire runs across intake manifold anything old used will be dry rotted and cracked.

    Installed AC lines and vacuumed it down. It held vacuum for an hour so charged it with one can and it holds pressure for hours so far. I have what looks like a failed alternator so decided wait for new alternator before running car. So thats where I left it.

    A friend of mine grew up in Europe and he doesn't get the whole two doors are favored over four doors in US collector car market. To him it doesn't make any sense. So its like well go spend less on a 4 door classic you like who cares.

    Fittings at compressor painted black. Liquid hard lines sanded/wire brush surface rust off, flushed, cleaned then painted aluminum.
