PRI show, bought the Quick Jack

I bought one too (quick jack) and it seems stable enuff for about any kind of work. I made some riser blocks to hold the large rubber blocks and gives about 4 extra inches of lift. I had to do this because of my sidepipes, the rubber blocks weren't tall enuff to keep from crushing my exhaust...

    steel shim head gasket

here is my 2 cents worth I always re torque my heads because of bolt stretch due to abuse and heat/cool cycles, and the fact that I am not using torque to yield bolts . Those are the ones that you pull down to 50 # then tighten another 180 degrees. the bolt stretch is figured in on these...

    started looking for car trailer

Ya I just bought a good trailer for $300 but by the time I am done with tires, wheel brgs, ramps, and brakes not to mention bracing and other things to make it work for me I will probably have $700 to 1000 in it. Still cheap if you don't count my time and labor. Trailers around here go for...

    Classic motorcycle

I prefer the old British bikes too. I still have a '76 Bonneville 750 that I keep saying I'm going to break out again. YIIPPEE! For me

I've got to look it over real close but I know I am going to add a couple heavy duty braces underneath just because it looks a little weak in a couple spots(when it comes to towing I'd rather be over cautious then not). Might even add some extra springs to the trailer and the truck.

    YIIPPEE! For me

I probably will extend it forward cuz I don't like the rear of the car hanging over the back of the trailer (plus the gate don't close but I was going to change that anyway) plus add a toolbox and spare tire mount up front
