    My daughter's 340 stock stroke, with Edelbrock heads not ported, Bullet cam, pump gas 10.7-1 KB pistons that are 15 years old, lightweight i beam rod, M1 intake, with 4.56 gears. runs 10.60s in the quarter mile. got to be 485 hp +or-, and its just a street car that is not driven on the street...

    Build the 340, you will enjoy it. I don't understand why everyone always says build a stroker.

    Better camshaft and you should be good. Try Bullet, Isky even Howards has some good grinds.

    I went 6.51 with my SM heads first time out on a easy foot brake pass. they have a little bit of work done to them.

    I know everybody talks about flow bench numbers, but does anyone CC the intake port to see the size?, i would like to port a set to 200cc plus, has anybody done that? Thanks

    DA now at 6500 and just went 10.93. Take out 3 jet sizes front and back

    I prefer not to run a 4 inch crank in any engine i build, for me or my daughter, i do like RPMs, my engine does not sound like its working that hard at 7500 plus.

    Its a 374ci 11-1 comp, Speedmaster heads, Bullet cam .600 lift. foot brake run, i only have 32 degrees of timing in it, just getting it broke in.

    I believe these are the dome pistons, above the deck part is ok, but the dome does not fit

    The dome does not fit inside the chamber, i had a set and wanted to use them, but the shape of the stock combustion chamber and the edelbrock are very different.
