CHEVY GUYS GET CAUGHT CHEATING AT INDY

It is a cold Damn Day in July, whenever Mopar gets a Even Break in NHRA racing!! I quit racing Prostock when NHRA factored the Crap out of the Hemis making it impossible to compete I quit Stock/Superstock for ten years when they factored our Duster 340 from 275HP all the darn way to 330HP and...

    Fuel systems for drag cars

I run that pump on 450 to 500HP with no problems. Also old Mallory 140s that I have bought for $25.00 at the swap meet = Even still on our 10 second stockers. Mallory used to help me out with them 20 years ago in the good old days. I spend a fortune on our Dozen race cars in the Family, just...

    Fuel systems for drag cars

My opinion exactly. I have seen a lot of Guys spend a real ton on complex systems on cars that do not justify it.

    Fuel systems for drag cars

I do not run a return line unless the car runs deep in the nines or faster. Never found anything on our Stockers or Superstockers.

Are Blue Felpro Head Gaskets the Same for 273/318/340?

Myron: Did you mean 1008 not 1007? They are great gaskets BUt If you have the budget Cometic are BETTER. Especially if you are using Aluminum heads with an Iron block! We have used 1008s on 318/360/340. The diameter is a bit big for a 318 and will drop compression slightly a smaller diameter.

    Name brand 727 shop? “Fairbanks”

They were an excellent builder 20 or 30 years ago. I think they were bought out or change hands a time or two maybe 15 years ago or so. Last time I knew anything is I "think" they may have been bought out by Frank Lupo (Dynamic). way back then.

Thanks for the Well Wishes and Prayers!

Both eyes had clogged ducts. They did not cause watering that I noticed (Inside eye), but they made pressure (Glaucoma) go way up. That is a real sight destroyer.

Thanks for the Well Wishes and Prayers!

I appreciate all the Friends on this Forum! My first eye surgery for Glaucoma/ Clogged Duct/ Cataracts went perfect. Next one in three weeks on the other eye. Without the surgical intervention I would have gone totally blind.

Adjustable Rockers looks like 2 types

A the Iskys Iron rockers I have seen have ISKY on the arm. Maybe old Sig Erson rockers?

440 source ductile adjustable rocker arms.

A couple more thoughts: Use a quality Break In Oil specifically for that purpose. Do not run Synthetic Oil for first couple oil changes particularly on a new engine that has been sitting for a while.

    HVH Super sucker?

I have seen mixed reviews on them. About 50/50 but ZERO benefit on our Superstocker. You can always buy it try it and resell if it does work for your combo and not lose a bunch of money.

    Edelbrock/Carter 800 AFB Or AVS?

I agree that the Drivability with the newer Annular booster is clearly better than AFB. Also better throttle response under load. However, my Valiant race car has a 3500 convertor and 3:91 gearing. With that combo I found not difference in ET whatsoever, Therefore I do not recommend rushing...

    Edelbrock/Carter 800 AFB Or AVS?

AVS is easier to tune secondaries coming in to eliminate bogging/stumbles. Secondaries flow a bit more on 800 but I could not find difference in ET on the Track when both were tuned on my 10 second 440 Valiant.
