Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sounds good but If I would take 1 puff I would be back smoking again. I even passed on going to a friends garage for some bourbon sampling. Those guys enjoy a cigar along with a dram or two. Pass.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I usually keep about a half dozen stocked. I do maybe one or two a month... Good for quiet, pensive nights on the deck

    Fresh carnage!

I believe the timing set and balancer were fine. Most likely what 72BluNblu guessed for 800.00 I hope it works out without too many problems. Tell your dad I said hello.

You can’t clean rust off a cast iron pan by baking it…at any temperature. Also, heat above 500F will permanently destroy the cast iron molecular structure rendering it unsalvageable and completely useless for cooking. The self-clean oven method can only be used for flaking off old seasoning...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

It is. My battle buddy lives in Lenoir City, he’s helping out. Texting me all the time. Same problem as Katrina too, flood waters washed up a couple cemeteries and caskets went floating down river. So it’s making getting an accurate death count harder too. Plus there were several Airbnbs wiped...

    Stop in for a drink.

MGP was the commercial distillery. Midwest Grain Products. They sold their juice to a huge number of upstart distilleries. THey need 2 year old Rye or 4 year old Bourbon to legally sell it as that. It has changed to Ross and Squibb and started selling a couple of their own labels. Remus...

Fire destroyed Big 3 Racing shop

I turn the power breaker off when not in the shop, always. I don't leave the oil burner running when I'm not there. It doesn't take long to heat the shop.

    Fresh carnage!

It is. He reused the timing set and Harmonic balancer. :BangHead: I got him all straight with new parts and a used retainer. The timing set I gave him has three adjustments and we are ordering a degree wheel.

    Stop in for a drink.

I spent a lot of time in the store yesterday. Annoying the staff... but whatever. Amazing the number of whiskeys "Distilled in Indiana". I know you told me this, but I just started really paying attention. Especially since I am very interested in being as "local" as I can be.

It is because almost every house has them. I know I have them in both my shop and house. One product I don’t buy from Harbor freight or dollar stores.

Fire destroyed Big 3 Racing shop

I’m wondering if it was a lithium battery on a charger as there is a lot of that going on. My buddy had one of those power strips that we all use catch fire in his shop. He walked in after lunch and his wall was starting to burn. Luckily he caught it. A 5-7 power strip and the only thing plugged...

Fire destroyed Big 3 Racing shop

That’s at least three shops on fire in the last few years. Steve Schmidt lost his shop and I haven’t checked to see if he’s back up and running yet. And Taylor Lastors shop went down to fire. IIRC they lost an engine on the dyno and the dyno room caught fire. I think the Schmidt was...
