Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

TRW used to make copies of them long time ago. I think I used to get them for $30.00 or so. Maybe $20.00 for a set of lifters. I used to zero lash them also. There sure has been a lot of good technical advances in all these years but you still can't beat the good old days.

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

As I went thru this thread again lots of folks say there is better stuff out there but I owned a 68 F/S 4 speed car. All stock except the carb. and that son of a gun just would rpm all day long even in high gear. I've used this cam a lot thru the years and no one ever complained but I got a lot...

Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

Wayyyyyyyyy back I had a 340 in a early dart and I used the 10 inch (9 1/4) flywheel to lighten the load and it was just about too light but it worked well with a 4.10 and a 3.09 first gear. I think you should use a std. flywheel with your combo.

Rear end location wrong? IM STUMPED!!!

I didn't read thru ever post but all my a-bodies have been closer to the lip on the left side. It's more noticeable on the early a-bodies because of the tight clearance. You can cut off the perches and reweld or just hog the holes out a little and put a washer on the top side and weld them on to...

    No Electrical working

Try this, next time it quits put the key on and turn the radio all the way up and put the headlights on. Now start under the hood and start wiggling the wiring and see if anything happens. Next go under the i.p. and do the same thing. Just watch your head, hehe.
