The temp where I am dropped from 77 to 70 in about 20 minutes and the southerly breeze is now calm....that means the front is passing by or really close plus it's pouring rain and thundering. Temps in the morning are supposed to be around 30.

Depending on the build, I will advance most street type cams 4 degrees.....all you are doing is shifting the power band lower in the rpm range. So far I've never had a lazy engine doing that. There was one teen that was very lazy down low but a buddy installed the .480 lift cam using the dot...

Well, I ran high 9's with a 60 and the only things done to it were aftermarket axles and a rear cover that had bearing cap supports. Before that, a car that ran high 10's with a 4 speed that was launched at 6k using stock axles and no support cover. So why spend the extra bucks to beef up a dang 9??
