Most of the connectors are Metripack but there are a few other less common ones as well. The main J1A and J2A connectors are Amphenol and you need the proper crimping tool for those.

The harnesses that Holley supply SUCK. Use the flying lead or the unterminated one shown above. The flying lead does not come with the terminals or connectors but if you have the depinning and crimping tools then just re-use the original connectors. Holley sells the terminals or you can get them...

That metal piece that is Red is the trunk lid. I have seen it painted Red and seen them painted body colour. Either way is good or a personal preference. Some paint it red to match the tail lights
