Yes I did reuse them. They are not old though. The engine was built in 2010 with arp bolts. I changed out the heads to 915's. I thought they would be fine. I guess you learn as you go.

Murphy's law take full effect! Snapped the last head bolt today. Torqued the first head to spec. Torqued the second and on the last bolt......... It snapped just as the torque wrench hit torque. Was planning on putting the engine in this weekend but it'll have to wait two more weeks...

I started in high school with an 86 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with T-tops. I paid 1500 for it. It had a 305. Took me a while but I built a 350 roller motor and a 350 turbo tranny. It got stolen when I was in Basic Training. I miss that thing but I have since started my love affair with MOPAR>

Put the 383 in and take your time to build a stroked 440. Oh that's what I am doing.

I plan on having the 383 for about a year. I have a 440, but dont have the money to build it the way I want right now. I dont want to buy the 1 3/4" just to need 2" for the future build. Did you make your own plate or buy a particular brand? That may be the way to go.

Well I am not happy having a chopped engine bay. The car had fenderwell headers when I bought it. So I found a set of inner fensders with a little surface rust and not cut up. I have been sanding at the and rmoved the suspension and k fram so they can be cut and replace the old sliced up set.

Since I am doing a resto mod i am puting seats from a 2010 dodge nitro inplace of the stock seat. the colors are charcol and tan. Just have to fab some seat brackets. I picked up some rear seats the other day for a good deal. just have to have them wrapped with a matching leather.

Bill did you run the rubber push on all the way to the front? I was thinking of running aluminum under the car and fitting it back to steel braided right brfore it goed to the regulator under the hood. Is this okay or should I run the braided or push-on the entire distance?
