Yeah, adjustable rockers and a turbo setup. Plenty of cars have a turbo setup on it for just a daily driver. My buddy's STI for example but he also takes it to the track every once and a while, though again it is his daily driver.

Zddp is for the flat tappet cam. The oil out today lacks the higher levels of zinc in it because it messes up the cat in new cars. Understand full syn (maybe blend as well but I'm 100% on that) will find the smallest leak and start leaking a lot because syn is a lot finer than regular oil. Now...

Depends on what the block is made of, cast iron or aluminum. So which one do you have?

Rent/borrow an engine hoist and pull the motor. This will give you a much much better ideas of what is wrong can what needs to done to fix it.

EFI and turbo/supercharge the Slant that will be an odd ball and make people think.

Based off what you just said here, have you done a compression check yet? It might not be the head gasket but a different all together.

Yes. It has the same size tubes as an 8.75 rear. If your trying to do more then one thing with the car, you might want get the 8.75 to be able to change gear ratios in about an hour if you screw around and 30 minutes if your on the ball.

First figure out which bolt pattern you want (I'd go 5x4.5, much much bigger wheel selection). If you go with the BBP, just swap out and junk the 7.25 rear, and get either the 8.25 (it will have BBP already) or the 8.75 rear (you'll need to either order new axles or if you get a B-Body 8.75 from...

Use a late 80s/early 90s 360 LA Roller Block. You'll be miles ahead if the game that way. What I would've used instead of my 340 had I known about them at the time I was looking for a motor and if I didn't pay next to dirt for my 340 block.

Forced induction is always cool! However, it Totally depends on what you're doing do that same racing but instead of that big block it has a 572 Hemi with twin turbos, can you guess which one will win.

Intake, carb, exhaust, electric ignition conversion, and a fuel line mod. Dan could tell you more about what to do with them.

Call Ferrea (or your perferred valve maker) and talk with them. They could have one from a different car you wouldn't normally think would have that size. That or they could custom make you a set, really its only money :twisted:
