How too Narrow a gas tank!

thats a really horrible spot for a fuel tank, right in line with the passenger side rear tire; most people put in a fuel cell because the engine isn't stock, meaning your probably going to be spinning it and have about 80 percent better chance of having a tire shread the wheel wheel

    Electric Fuel Pump Just Quit?

95 GPH? what are you running a double street hemi set up?:D 7 PSI is getting up there for a single 4 barrel but will work fine for the most part, more fuel then most engines need

    phenolic vs wood carb spacer

wood is not a good material, very porous (allows air and liquid through grains) and very flammable when soaked in fuel

Will a throttle cable stretch over time?

don't ad zip ties, that's a half assed fix, all mopar engines have throttle cable adjustment with the engine running, loosen the lock nut on the throttle cable on bracket on the intake , pull back on the cable case until the car starts to rev up a little, release it some so you get normal idle...

    F.A.S.T EZI Good/Bad? anyone?

there are plenty of options when it comes to EFI, it depends on how long you like to spend working on each there are companies that retrofit GM parts to work with mopar, there are also companies that make all there own parts when it comes to EFI prices can start at $500+ its not really about...

    Fuel pump parked up hill

is your pump a solenoid type pump or electric motor type? if its solenoid there should be minimal noise when running, if its electric good luck; there loud and annoying and I wouldn't have one (Holley blue pump and those type)

    Fuel injection questions

just put in a bypass style regulator if your keen on getting rid of the fuel injection but with a wiring diagram and a days work most anyone can get TBI functioning, theres not much to it

Failed smog test fuel tank not holding vacum

DEF might be okay where it doesn't get cold, but here it just plain sucks; once it messes up the whole system needs replaced, or just put a tuner on it and be rid of it! luckily the new dodge trucks meet emissions laws without that crap

Is 950cfm gonna be too big?

thermoquads are different, they will only flow what the engine needs

    high fuel pump preasure?

normally it doesn't stay pressurized though. but if you have an EFI pump your carburator would probably be overflowing with fuel!

    Electric or Mechanical fuel pump

mechanical isn't capible of supplying quick stable high pressure for EFI; thats why they don't use them anymore I don't use mechanical much anymore for the same reason, when you go to start with electric weather it be 2 months or 2 years the fuel will be at the line just as quick

    Electric or Mechanical fuel pump

like a fuel injection pump in the tank on modern cars except made for carburated, hence it only produces less then 10 PSI max an intank pump is quite, lasts longer because of no heat (fuel cools it) and its not that hard to hook up to stock tank...

    Electric or Mechanical fuel pump

I run a carburated intank pump, works good with no noise and starts good when cold

    What Is Good Gas Mileage?

if you get better then 20 MPG your doing excellent, some of the /6's claim 25-28 but I don't know the truth in that, any slant I had was just as hard on fuel with alot less power

NON-EGR INTAKE MANIFOLD on EGR ENGINE

Aluminum Fuel Tank Project / EFI Fuel Cooling

you have an interesting way of solving it, but what happens if a rock bonces up and goes through that cooler that has (probably return fuel) at pressures of about 15-20 psi? a fire is bound to happen they run new EFI cars everyday without fuel coolers, there must be an issue with your setup

    Fuel injection questions

they weren't too bad at all if you know how to work on them. I sell kits that use the 1988-1991 dodge TBI components as well as wiring, I'm sure if you buy it I can walk you through the wiring

    Fuel Pumps

I've never seen one with a vent tube, only a hole can you post a picture? also I can't see why it woudn't work; it has only one purpose, to pump fuel. If its from a 225 and bolts on I can't see why it wouldn't work

anyone modify stock sending unit for intank pump?

there is no possible way for a fuel pump to cause a tank to explode, since the pump is sumerged in the fuel there is no oxygen to support a fire; I've replaced pumps on newer chev trucks and to my surprise the pump was all melted where the plastic on it was
