its an easy job on those, dont even need a spring compressor. just buy the loaded control arms from rock auto and tie rods, take about a day with a lift.

i find it easier to just heat the original ones and then pull down on the hood some. Let them cool and see how much "lighter" it is, just keep going till it takes a little effort to shut the hood

well i think what you need to ask yourself is do you have the money to build a car vs get financing on a new one. Yea you can build a 23mpg slant pretty easily, but its a whole package not just the engine.
